Ho lee, morning came way too soon,
.
Cloudy skies and some wobble, yep we're still at sea. Dorothy was up long before me but lovely girl that she is, waited for me to ready myself then we went up top for brekky.
.
Sat with the usual suspects, Jennie, Peter, Cathi & Bruce, started a few more rumors, laughed till my sides split then left for the therapy class, OOPS I meant pool. Dorothy and I were first in there this morning, the attendants forgot to tell me that the piranhas were still guarding it so I got bitten..Just kidding, but I did scratch my leg on a sharp bit, that should be good for a world cruise.:)
.
Still no word on San Martin Peru, but we have a feeling that with the heavy seas and head on wind, it could be off the menu. Cabin fever has hit a whole bunch of pax, they sit there drooling and giggling with strange looks on their faces. :)
.
5pm.
.
The seas have calmed, as has the wind, people are coming out of hibernation, so the dining room should be busier tonight. Our lunch turned into a conference as after we'd eaten, a gathering of the clans congregated at one table and the next thing we knew two and a half hours had passed. I missed my afternoon nap so I might be a bit grumpy but at least we won't have to put the clocks forward tonight.
.
Dinner was light, shrimp, scallops and julienned veggies for me, no soup but a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Met up with Paul and Lynne as we usually do after dinner, had a few laughs till it was time for 2nd. Seating, they went to eat, Dorothy went to the show, I went up to finish blogging, After 6 sea days there's not a lot to tell though. Tomorrow at noon ish, we should dock at San Martin, some of us have our doubts though. If we do we do but if we don’t we don’t, there's not much there except Peruvian desert.
.
To be continued.
The sailors poem.
ReplyDeleteThe Pax went to sea you see,
To see all they could see you see,
But all that they did see you see,
Was the sea you see !!
I see sea, you see sea, so I see you too see?
