Surprise surprise it's still snowing, supposed to clear up this aft. We'll see, oh me of little faith. We're all packed and ready for our pick up tomorrow. Dorothy is away getting her nails done and her eyebrows plucked, I'm not going to bother with any of that this time , though I may get my eyebrows plaited.I just clicked on the ships web and there she is heading in the right direction one more port of call for her, then Honolulu.
We were out for dinner with neighbors last night and I was laughing so hard that I'm paying for it now with
shoulder pain, I do so hope the new meds kick in quicker than the 4 to 6 weeks their supposed to take.
I feel a nap coming on, we both had a bad night and were rudely awoken at 6.30 by some idiot from the East doing a survey, good job Dorothy answered the phone. We're on the do not call list but they seem to have found a way around it as we've been getting a few calls lately.
At least for the next 5 weeks our calls will be from fellow pax :)

I think plaiting the eyebrows would create a stunning look! :0! Bon voyage you two! We will look forward to sailing alongside. Hope you have a great trip and look after yourselves! Love, Caro and the old fella!
ReplyDeleteThank you Meg & Grant, glad you received the link and hope you are settled in. If we were where you are, we'd be on our way :)
ReplyDeleteSnaggers
Hi Tony,
ReplyDeleteI have just done a trial pack and my suitcase weighs in at 19.30kg well under the limit. Needless to say I am thrilled. We are having a drizzly, damp day here so much for sunny Autumn. In fact my sister and brother in law were walking down at Wilson's Promotory - a wonderful National Park about 200km from here and on Tuesday night they had over 6 inches of rain. They have had to be helicopted out this morning and their car has to stay in the carpark until the road is completely rebuilt, some time in the never never I expect!

Hi Jennie,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your suitcase is under weight, Dorothy did some rearranging and we now have one at 40lbs. and the other at 35lbs. We can't believe it, but the scale won't lie.
Mother nature sure seems ticked off at the world these days, the weather is crazy all over. It will be fab where we're going though. See you in Papeete on the 5th or 6th.
